About Me

Years of Clinical Experience

I’m a practicing psychologist with extensive clinical experience.  I currently have a private practice where I focus on clients with personality disorders, character disorders, and some of the more challenging aspects of human nature.  I use an eclectic approach to therapy that combines cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic approaches.  I specialize in brief, solution-oriented psychotherapy as well.

Years as a Professional Educator

I have over thirty-five years of consultative and supervisory experience as a private practice psychologist, trainer and organizational consultant.  I have served on the teaching faculties of The Ohio State University, Ohio Dominican University, the American Healthcare Institute, Vyne Education (formerly Cross Country Education), and the Institute for Brain Potential.

Attendees of my training sessions

I develop and implement training programs for medical and mental health professionals who work in both public and private agency settings. I currently teach for the Institute for Brain Potential based in Southern California. I spend 20 weeks per year developing MCE programs for the Institute as well as developing webinars for professionals around the world.

My Story

Over forty years of diversified and successful clinical, counseling, consultative and training experience.  Thirty years of consultative and supervisory experience as a private practice psychologist, trainer and organizational consultant.  Twelve years of comprehensive administrative and supervisory experience as a clinical director of a university counseling and placement agency, and an A.I.D.S. Service Organization.
